In trip.

We went to Sandwich Massachusetts this week it was pretty cool and there was lots of stuff to do. But I do not recommend walking on the sidewalks they sucked it felt like you were going to get driven over by a car. We went to see the Sandwich Glass Museum first it was actually really interesting we saw lots of glass sculptures, but my favorite had to be the pumpkins we even got to see a dude make one. It’s called glass blowing basically you blow into the melted glass like a balloon it was really satisfying. There was also a movie that talked about the giant glass factory that was in sandwich before it went bankrupt.

After the glass museum we got ice cream from Shipwreck, my favourite ice cream store we’ve been to yet. The ice cream wasn’t why it was the best though it’s because of the tortoises they had in the front. You couldn’t touch them, but they where really cool, I even got some pictures.

At the end of the day, we went to some kind of visitor’s center museum thing and there was even a boat you could tour but it was really small. I also did a scavenger hunt I think that mom only wanted me to do it so I would have to read the informational plaques, but I did get a free carabiner with a knife in its since I finished so it was worth it. Almost the whole place was just a museum about the canal we are going through it’s called the Cape Code Canal, and it was built in 1914. (sorry I didn’t get any pics of the museum).
