Thanksgiving was not a lot different in America than Canada, the food was mostly the same but the selection wasn’t the usual for me. I was really surprised about how little stuffing there was and at least 4 people brought mac and cheese. Everything there was really sweet, I don’t know if this is just weird for me, but it was still really good. I’ve never gone to a party for Thanksgiving before, so it was very fun. For Thanksgiving day everyone who was going brought a different dish and it was a bit like a buffet of homemade food which was delicious. Some people also brought deserts but when I finished there wasn’t many options left, what was left was still amazing though.

The party was really fun, but it was at a bar and it was really loud and crowded. Getting to have Thanksgiving twice was really fun and being able to do it with some friends was really nice. We didn’t only go to the Thanksgiving day party we also went to most of the other events. They put them on 3 days before Thanksgiving and there was a breakfast the day after, we didn’t end up going to the first event or the breakfast. I do think that American Thanksgiving was way too close to Christmas happy holidays.
